We are building the European Battery
While Europe accounts for up to 20 % of global battery consumption, only a fraction of cells and virtually no intermediate materials are produced in the EU.
alteva’s lightweight, high-performance lithium-sulfur batteries mark a shift in battery supply chains. Our team is developing batteries with local raw materials and production. With our batteries, Europe will operate autonomously from foreign influence and continue to access high-end batteries.

Through the use of abundantly available components and resources, such as lithium and sulfur, we are building a fully sustainable European supply chain. From raw material to battery cell, we will ensure that we are not dependent on the vagaries of geopolitics and can deliver battery solutions to our customers whenever they need them.

Scalable Production
alteva’s active materials only require machinery that is already in use today. Furthermore, we manufacture our battery cells in facilities and using processes that are established in the industry.
With our setup, we will enter the market quickly, scale production rapidly, and supply our customers with their battery needs in a timely fashion.
